Velociraptor
A genus of theropod dinosaurs that lived during the Late Cretaceous period (approximately 75 to 68 million years ago) in what is now Mongolia. Known for their sickle-shaped claws on each foot, *Velociraptor* was a relatively small predator (around 6 feet long) and is often depicted as being highly intelligent and agile, though this portrayal has been influenced by popular culture rather than strict scientific evidence.
