Mamenchisaurus

A genus of extinct, long-necked sauropod dinosaurs that lived during the Late Jurassic period in what is now China. Mamenchisaurus is best known for its exceptionally long neck, which may have been as much as half its total body length. Fossil evidence suggests it was a herbivore with a relatively small head.
