Deinonychus
A mid-sized carnivorous dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous period (approximately 75-66 million years ago) known for its sickle-shaped claw on each foot. It was a swift agile predator likely hunting in packs and is closely related to Velociraptor. Its name means 'terrible claw'.
