Therizinosaurus Segnosaur

A large, herbivorous dinosaur from the Late Cretaceous period (approximately 70-66 million years ago). Easily recognized by its exceptionally long forelimbs, tipped with massive claws – the largest of any known land animal. It likely used these claws for stripping leaves from trees and possibly defense.

Therizinosaurus is derived from the Greek words 'therion' (beast) and 'zygosauros' (banded lizard).

Therizinosaurus was a plant-eating dinosaur known for its incredibly long claws, which it likely used to rake branches and pull down leaves.
