Niutao

Niutao is a remote atoll in the Tuvalu archipelago, consisting of two islets: Motu Niutao and Teone. Historically, it was the most populous island in Tuvalu before a devastating tsunami in 1891 significantly reduced its population. Today, it remains sparsely inhabited and is known for its traditional cultural practices.
