Martin Luther King
An American Baptist minister and activist who became the most visible leader in the Civil Rights Movement. King advocated for nonviolent resistance to achieve racial equality and is best known for his role in the Montgomery bus boycott and delivering the 'I Have a Dream' speech during the March on Washington. He was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1964.
