Tellurium

Tellurium (Te) is a chemical element, a metalloid in Group 16 of the periodic table. It is a brittle, silver-gray element that exhibits properties of both metals and nonmetals. Tellurium is relatively rare in the Earth's crust, often found as a byproduct of lead or copper mining. It is used in solar panels, thermoelectric devices, and alloys to improve machinability.
