Octanitrocubane is a highly explosive compound consisting of a cubane molecule (a structure composed of eight carbon atoms arranged in a cube) with eight nitro groups (-NO₂) attached. It boasts exceptionally high density and detonation velocity, making it one of the most powerful known high explosives.
