Hexogen (RDX or cyclotrimethylenetrinitramine) is a powerful explosive widely used in military applications. It’s more stable and less sensitive than dynamite, but still highly dangerous. Often combined with other explosives like TNT to form Composition B, hexogen's detonation velocity and brisance are exceptionally high.
