Chrysoberyl

Chrysoberyl Gemstone

Chrysoberyl is an aluminate of beryllium, known for its high refractive index and dispersion. It occurs naturally in yellow-green to brown colors, with a rare variety called Alexandrite exhibiting color change (typically green in daylight and red/purple under incandescent light). Its hardness makes it suitable for jewelry.
