Alexandrite

Alexandrite is an exceptionally rare color-change gem variety of chrysoberyl. It exhibits a striking green hue in daylight or fluorescent light and transitions to a reddish-purple under incandescent light, making it prized for its unique optical effect. Its chemical formula is BeAl₂O₄.
