Yugoslavia

Yugoslavia was a country in Southeastern and Central Europe that existed from 1918 to 2006. Initially formed after World War I as the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes, it later became known as Yugoslavia. After World War II, it evolved into a socialist federal republic under Josip Broz Tito until its dissolution amid ethnic conflicts during the Yugoslav Wars in the 1990s.
