Xylophone

A xylophone is a percussion instrument consisting of a row of tuned wooden bars that are struck with mallets to produce musical tones. The length of each bar determines its pitch; shorter bars produce higher notes and longer bars, lower notes. It's commonly used in orchestras, bands, and as a solo instrument.
