Utrecht is a city and municipality in the Netherlands, located about 25 miles southeast of Amsterdam. It's known for its medieval architecture, including the iconic Dom Tower (a former cathedral tower), and a network of canals. Utrecht is also a major university city, home to the oldest university in the Netherlands.
