Trent refers to the River Trent, a major river in the United Kingdom that flows through northern and central England. It rises on the southern edge of the Peak District in Derbyshire and flows eastwards through Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire, Staffordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire, and Warwickshire before joining the River Severn near Tewkesbury. The Trent is historically significant for its role in trade and transport, particularly during the Industrial Revolution.
