Rugby is a contact team sport played with an oval ball. Two teams compete to score points by carrying, passing, or kicking the ball over their opponent's goal line (a 'try') or kicking it through the opposing team’s goalposts. Known for its physicality and strategic play, rugby has two main forms: Rugby Union and Rugby League.
