Handball is a fast-paced team sport played on a court with goals at each end. Two teams of seven players (six outfield and one goalkeeper) pass a ball, usually by hand, with the aim of scoring by throwing it into the opposing goal. Physical contact is allowed within certain limits, and players can run with the ball for a limited number of steps before needing to pass or shoot.
