Naypyidaw

Naypyidaw (Burmese: နေပြည်တော်, Naypyīdaw) is the capital city of Myanmar. Established in 2005 as a replacement for Yangon, it is located in central Myanmar. The name translates to 'Royal Domain' and the city’s purpose remains a subject of some debate.
