Lima

Lima is the capital and largest city of Peru. Situated in the coastal valley between the Andes Mountains and the Pacific Ocean, it's a major cultural, economic, and political hub of South America. Founded by Francisco Pizarro in 1535 as Ciudad de los Reyes, it's known for its historic architecture, including colonial buildings and the Plaza Mayor.
