Lake Muhazi
Lake Albert is a large freshwater lake located in East Africa, shared between Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It is one of the lakes in the Great Lakes system of Africa and lies along the eastern branch of the Rift Valley. The lake is connected to Lake Edward via the Murchison Falls and drains into the White Nile through the Albert Nyanza. Lake Albert supports commercial fishing and is an important resource for local communities.
