The Kalahari Desert is a large semi-arid sandy savanna region in Southern Africa, covering parts of Botswana, Namibia, and South Africa. It is characterized by its vast expanses of red sand dunes, sparse vegetation, and a climate marked by low rainfall. Despite its desert classification, the Kalahari supports diverse wildlife including meerkats, lions, and various antelope species.
