Cyclone
A cyclone is a large-scale air mass that rotates around a strong center of low atmospheric pressure. Cyclones are characterized by inward spiraling winds that rise in the center. They form over warm waters near the equator and can cause severe weather, including heavy rain, high winds, and storm surges.
