Chlorine Trifluoride
Chlorine trifluoride (ClF₃) is an extremely reactive and corrosive inorganic compound. It exists as a pale yellow liquid at room temperature, possessing a pungent odor. Highly dangerous to handle, it reacts violently with water and many other substances, including common materials like wood and rubber. Its primary uses are in etching processes and as a fluorinating agent.
