Ammonium Picrate
Ammonium picrate is an explosive salt formed from the reaction of picric acid and ammonia. It's less sensitive than picric acid itself but still considered a high explosive, used primarily in military applications like detonating cords and boosters. Its formation can occur unintentionally during the handling or storage of picric acid if exposed to ammonia or ammonium compounds.
