Vladimir Lenin
Russian revolutionary, politician, and political theorist.
Vladimir Lenin (1870–1924) was a Russian revolutionary, politician, and political theorist. As the leader of the Bolshevik Party, he played a central role in the October Revolution of 1917, which overthrew the Provisional Government and led to the establishment of Soviet Russia. Lenin developed Marxist ideology into Leninism, emphasizing the role of a vanguard party to lead the working class toward revolution.
