The Ural Mountains, also known as the Urals, are a mountain range that forms part of the natural boundary between Europe and Asia. Stretching approximately 2,500 kilometers from the Arctic Ocean in the north to the Ural River and Kazakhstan in the south, they are rich in mineral resources and have historical significance as a cultural divide.
