The White Stripes

An American rock duo formed in Detroit, Michigan, consisting of Jack White (vocals, guitar) and Meg White (drums). Known for their minimalist instrumentation – primarily guitar, drums, bass, and vocals – and raw, blues-inspired sound, they achieved significant commercial success in the early 2000s with albums like *Elephant* and *Ick* *White*, before disbanding in 2011.
