The Silence of the Lambs

A 1991 American psychological horror film directed by Jonathan Demme. It follows Clarice Starling, a young FBI trainee, who is tasked with interviewing Dr. Hannibal Lecter, a brilliant psychiatrist and cannibalistic serial killer, in order to apprehend another murderer known as 'Buffalo Bill.' The film is renowned for its suspenseful atmosphere, strong performances (particularly from Jodie Foster and Anthony Hopkins), and exploration of themes such as manipulation, empathy, and the nature of evil.
