Termite
Termites are social insects belonging to the order Isoptera. They live in highly organized colonies with specialized castes (workers, soldiers, reproductives) and feed primarily on cellulose found in wood. Often mistaken for ants, termites are distinguished by their paler color, broader waist-like thorax, and straight antennae.
