Temperate Grassland

Temperate grasslands are biomes characterized by dominant grasses and herbaceous plants, with few trees. Found in mid-latitude regions, they experience hot summers and cold winters, with moderate rainfall. Examples include the prairies of North America, the pampas of South America, and the steppes of Eurasia. They support a rich diversity of grazing animals and are often used for agriculture.
