Silver Fulminate

Silver fulminate (AgCNO) is an explosive silver salt composed of silver, carbon, nitrogen, and oxygen. It is highly sensitive to friction, impact, heat, and even light pressure, making it dangerously unstable. It detonates readily when dry and was formerly used in small quantities for blasting caps or as a novelty explosive, though its extreme sensitivity discourages such uses.
