A large North American cactus (Carnegiea gigantea) found primarily in the Sonoran Desert, including areas like Saguaro National Park. Known for its towering height, reaching up to 40 feet (12 meters), and distinctive ribbed trunk and arms. Saguaros are slow-growing, taking decades to mature and produce flowers.
