cyclotrimethylenetrinitramine
RDX, also known as cyclotrimethylenetrinitramine, is a highly explosive cyclic nitrate ester. Initially developed in 1924 by German scientists, it's significantly more powerful than TNT and widely used in military explosives such as plastic explosives (e.g., C-4) and propellants.
