The Nationalsozialistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei (NSDAP), commonly known as the Nazi Party, was a far-right political party in Germany active from 1920 until its dissolution in 1945 following World War II. It was led by Adolf Hitler and became the ruling party of Nazi Germany from 1933 to 1945. The NSDAP promoted extreme nationalism, anti-Semitism, and authoritarianism.
