Muscles

Muscles are contractile tissues found in animals that enable movement and maintain body structure. They are classified into three types: skeletal muscles, which are attached to bones and control voluntary movements; smooth muscles, found in internal organs and responsible for involuntary actions; and cardiac muscle, which is specific to the heart and pumps blood throughout the body.
