Minoan

Bronze Age civilization on Crete.

Minoan culture

The Minoans were a Bronze Age civilization that flourished on the island of Crete from roughly 2700 to 1450 BCE. Known for their elaborate palaces (like Knossos), vibrant frescoes, Linear A writing system (undeciphered), and apparent peaceful society, they significantly influenced the later Mycenaean Greek civilization.
