Malayalam

Malayalam is a Dravidian language spoken predominantly in the Indian state of Kerala and among Malayali communities abroad. It is one of the 22 scheduled languages of India and has a rich literary tradition spanning over a millennium. Malayalam is written in its own script, which evolved from the Grantha alphabet and has distinct features distinguishing it from other Indian scripts.
