Lead styphnate is an inorganic compound with the formula Pb(C₄H₃O₃)₂·PbCO₃. It is a highly sensitive primary explosive, historically used in detonators and percussion caps. Due to its instability and toxicity of lead compounds, it's largely replaced by safer alternatives.
