Lao Tzu Laozi

Laozi was a Chinese philosopher traditionally regarded as the founder of Daoism. He is believed to have authored the "Dao De Jing," a foundational text in Chinese philosophy that explores concepts such as Dao (the Way), Wu Wei (non-action), and the balance of opposites. Laozi is often depicted as a sage who lived during the Zhou dynasty and chose to leave China mysteriously, riding on a water buffalo.
