Lake Vostok

Lake Vostok is a subglacial lake in Antarctica, buried beneath approximately 4 kilometers (2.5 miles) of ice. It is the largest known subglacial lake in Antarctica and potentially harbors unique microbial life due to its isolation from sunlight and the Earth's surface for millions of years.
