Jaws

A 1975 American thriller film directed by Steven Spielberg, based on Peter Benchley's novel of the same name. It follows a small coastal town terrorized by a giant great white shark, and features the characters Police Chief Brody, marine biologist Hooper, and fisherman Quint.
