The Ionian Sea is a section of the Mediterranean Sea, located between Greece to the east and Italy to the west. It is bordered by the Greek islands of Corfu, Zakynthos, and Kefalonia in the east, and Calabria and Sicily in the west. It is known for its clear turquoise waters and popular tourist destinations.
