Ionian Sea

The Ionian Sea is a section of The Mediterranean Sea situated between southern Italy and western Greece. It lies to The west of The Greek mainland and islands such as Corfu, Zakynthos, and Kefalonia, while extending eastward toward Calabria and Sicily in Italy. The Sea is renowned for its deep blue waters, rich biodiversity, and historical significance.
