IMAP protocol
Internet Message Access Protocol (IMAP) is an internet protocol that allows email clients to access and manage emails stored on a mail server. Unlike POP3, IMAP keeps emails on the server, allowing multiple devices to synchronize and view the same messages. Users can organize, flag, and delete emails directly on the server.
