Emus

The emu (Dromaius novaehollandiae) is a large, flightless bird endemic to Australia. It ranks among the largest living birds by height and is second only to the ostrich in size. Emus are known for their long legs, necks, and distinctive appearance. Despite being flightless, they are powerful runners capable of reaching speeds up to 48 km/h (30 mph).
