Dry Tortugas

A small, remote island group in the Gulf of Mexico, approximately 70 miles (113 km) west of Key West, Florida. The Dry Tortugas consist of seven small islands and are known for Fort Jefferson, a massive 19th-century fort, and their rich marine ecosystem.
