Don Quixote – Miguel de Cervantes

Don Quixote is a 1605 novel by Spanish author Miguel de Cervantes. Widely considered the first modern novel, it follows Alonso Quixano, a gentleman who reads so many chivalric romances he loses his mind and sets out to revive chivalry as the knight 'Don Quixote.' The book satirizes romance literature while exploring themes of idealism versus practicality, sanity, and reality.
