The Colosseum, also known as the Flavian Amphitheatre, is an ancient Roman amphitheater located in Rome, Italy. It was completed around 80 AD and could hold up to 50,000 spectators. It was used for gladiatorial contests, public spectacles, and other forms of entertainment.
