Cadmium
A soft, bluish-white metal belonging to the d-block elements. Cadmium is a moderately toxic element found in small amounts in various minerals, and it's employed in rechargeable batteries, pigments (especially red and yellow), and as a protective coating against corrosion. It is chemically similar to zinc.
