William Gates
William Henry Gates III (born October 28, 1955) is an American business magnate and philanthropist. He co-founded Microsoft Corporation in 1975, becoming the world’s wealthiest person for much of the late 20th and early 21st centuries. Since leaving his day-to-day role at Microsoft, Gates has focused on philanthropy through the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, addressing global health and development issues.
